How To Draw Charlotte From Charlotte's Web
Following the death of acting legend Debbie Reynolds on Wednesday, tributes poured out highlighting her work in films like Singin' in the Rain and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, her advocacy for mental health issues, and her passion for preserving Hollywood memorabilia.
But one of her many roles seems to have caught some fans by surprise this week; Reynolds played the titular spider in 1973's Charlotte's Web. In the animated film based on the children's book by E.B. White, Charlotte saves a young pig named Wilbur from certain death by writing messages praising him in her web.

In then end, though, it is Charlotte who can't escape the circle of life.
"After all, what's a life anyway, we're born, we live a little while, we die," says Charlotte, trying to comfort Wilbur. "By helping you, I was trying to lift up my own life a trifle."
And in her final moments, the spider softly sings a song, which feels all too appropriate today.
"How very special are we, for just a moment to be, part of life's eternal rhyme."
