How To Create Upi Pin In Paytm Without Debit Card

In UPI (unified payment interface) only a single PIN password used to initiate any transaction. You need to enter this PIN password when you transfer money or make payment online using BHIM UPI, and this is your UPI PIN.

What is Paytm UPI PIN?

It is your (4 or 6-digits) transaction password to initiate any UPI transaction. You need to enter this PIN when you transfer money from your bank account using BHIM UPI. When you link your bank account with Paytm, you need to set up your UPI PIN also using the ATM Debit card.

You can create or change your Paytm UPI PIN anytime and if you forgot your current PIN then you can also reset using the ATM Debit card.

How to Change UPI PIN in Paytm UPI

If you know your current UPI PIN then you don't need to enter the ATM Debit card number and expiry date. You can change your UPI PIN without a Debit card.

To change your Paytm UPI PIN, just open Paytm application and tap on BHIM UPI section.

You can see your Bank account list, tap, and open Bank account to change UPI PIN.

Now tap on Create New UPI PIN.

Next screen, tap on "I remember my old UPI PIN" as you can see below screenshot.

And finally, enter your current UPI PIN and set your new PIN.

How To Reset Paytm UPI PIN when you forgot current PIN

If you forgot your current Paytm UPI PIN then you need to set a new PIN using ATM Debit card, no other option for you.

Open UPI section and tap on your linked Bank account.

Now select Create New UPI PIN.

And next screen, enter your ATM Debit card last 6-digits and expiry date/month.

Next screen, you will receive OTP on your bank registered mobile number, enter this OTP and set your new UPi PIN.

So by following these two ways, Paytm UPI users can change or reset UPI PIN.

FAQ

(1) Can I reset my UPI Pin number without an ATM card?

Ans: No, for security reasons, you need to enter ATM card details to reset your PIN. However, if you know your current UPI PIn then you don't need to enter ATM card details.

(2) Where can I find my ATM card last 6-digits and expiry date?

Ans: Please check the front side of your card where you can see 16-digits ATM card number, you need to enter the last 6-digits to reset your UPI PIN and below you can find expiry date (valid thru or valid up to) date and month.
