ABOUT THE DESIGNER:Ricardo Marçal

Ricardo was born in 1979 in Hamburg, Germany, but it was in Viana do Castelo, in the north of Portugal, that he first pursuit his engineering and product design studies.

His work is defined by an acute eye for geometry and formal detail, a healthy obsession Ricardo has been developing throughout the years.

These attributes are expressed in Ricardo's designs for TemaHome, such as the modular bookcase/space divider Ivy, the rotating bookcase Shell or the London bookshelf.
